Do you sell to the public?
No. Meranti is a trade wholesaler and we supply businesses, sole traders, charities and other organisations only. Registration asks for your business details and every order is invoiced to your business.
How fast is delivery?
Order stocked lines by 3pm on a working day and we dispatch the same day for next-working-day delivery to mainland UK. Remote postcodes are usually two days. Full details are in our Delivery & Returns Policy.
How much is delivery?
Free on orders of £150 ex VAT or more; £6.95 below that. Collections from our Manchester warehouse are free, and pallet or container deliveries are quoted per order.
Are your prices ex VAT?
Yes. As is standard in trade supply, every price on this site is the ex VAT pack price, with the per-unit rate shown underneath. VAT at 20% is added at checkout and itemised on your invoice.
How does ordering without paying online work?
Build your basket, sign in and submit the order. We email a confirmation, then an invoice with BACS and card payment details. First orders are payable before dispatch; approved accounts move to 30-day terms.
How do I get 30-day credit?
Apply for a trade account, trade with us on proforma terms, and after three invoices paid on time you can request credit terms. Approval is subject to status and we may ask for references. A VAT number on your account speeds this up.
Where does your packaging come from?
Factory-direct from a small group of Indonesian paper and converting mills we have audited ourselves, shipped by consolidated sea freight to our Manchester warehouse. FSC-certified board is available across the box range on request.
Can you supply bespoke sizes or printed packaging?
Yes. Because we work directly with the mills we can quote bespoke box sizes, printed tape and printed carrier bags at surprisingly low minimums. Email your specification to info@merantipackaging.co.uk.
What if something arrives damaged or short?
Report it within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos and we will replace, credit or refund the affected items at our cost.
Can I return goods I no longer need?
Unused goods in original packaging can be returned within 14 days with a returns reference. Bespoke and printed items are excluded unless faulty. See the Delivery & Returns Policy.
